Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Beeline have agreed to cooperate in the field of research of big data and artificial intelligence, as well as to join efforts in the study and development of IT systems for data processing, machine learning and information security.
As part of this partnership, an artificial intelligence and data analysis laboratory will be created at the university. The project participants will study artificial intelligence and methods of its implementation in business processes, create predictive models based on big data analysis, and use neural network technologies as part of the digital transformation of St. Petersburg State University of Economics. This is not the first agreement in the field of research and application of AI technologies, signed by the Beeline with the leading scientific centers of the country. Earlier it was announced about the creation of a digital laboratory at the Sechenov University. The agreement provides for joint work of the parties in the field of creating new medical technologies based on artificial intelligence techniques, as well as the implementation of the results of cooperation in the Russian healthcare system. In addition, it is planned to jointly develop AI and machine learning technologies with Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The corresponding agreement was signed in July this year.
